New/obscure anime and manga reccomendation thread!
Hey everyone, I thought it might be cool to share some series with each other that maybe aren't getting the press they deserve. The series reccomended should ideally be pretty new or obscure, even if they've been going on for a while. Leave a small description, but try not to reveal too much! I'll start:

World Trigger -
A really new manga, that only came out last month. Set in a city constantly invaded by aliens, a defense group called Border fends them off with alien weapons called triggers. Think D.Gray Man meets Men In Black.

Hungry Joker -
A young, mysterious scientist named Haiji, conducts bizzare experiments, and battles monsters using his powers of controlling gravity.

Afterschool Charisma -
A school is filled with clones of historical figures, apart from one boy. How will he cope with being a normal person in a school full of people who are anything but? He's got his friends to help him along the way though, like Napoleon, Freud, and Florence Nightingale. A really cool thriller/mystery manga.

Toriko -
Not as obscure as the others, but still pretty unheard of. Toriko is a gourme hunter. Which is effectively a really strong man who hunts down the biggest, most delicious animals and food to eat. Will he ever figure out his full course meal? Think Fist Of The North Star meets The Hungry Bikers and you're halfway there.

There's a 12-episode anime series called AMNESIA which finished airing earlier this week, I honestly can't praise this series enough, but it may not appeal to some people. I'd recommend it to fans of shoujo, reverse-harem, sci-fi and fantasy. It doesn't seem to be that well-known at the moment, but I hope it does soon, because it's epic. (IMO, anyway :3)

Short summary (taken from MyAnimeList, because I'm hopeless at explaining things like this):
One morning, a young lady awakens to find that she has lost all her memories prior to that morning. Her life, her relationships, her very nameā€”all gone. All that's left is a cell phone with numbers and names she doesn't recognize and Orion, a young boy that only she appears to be able to see. With Orion's guidance, she struggles to make sense of herself, a boyfriend she doesn't know and the thousand and one little things that make up a daily life. But with no memories left, the only alternative is to forge new ones, even if that means leaving old loves behind.

Another series I'd like to recommend is Joshiraku. Joshiraku is... well, a completely random anime. Like Hetalia. I'd recommend it to otakus and fans of Japanese pop culture, as it contains a lot of such references. Here's the synopsis off MAL: An adaptation of a manga written by the author of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei about group of girls who discuss random things and usually reach an unusual or humorous conclusion that's far from the initial discussion topic.
