Okay, I'm gonna officially be starting my cosplay making this week and the first thing I can't figure out is...
How do these SOLDIER members put ON their belts!? I have been looking at pictures of Zack from all angles and all that the belt belt seems to have is a seam going down the middle of the back. And I'm very sure he couldn't slip the thing over his shoulders or legs. (Or atleast I wont be able to!)
So, I just want to ask for suggestions on how other's have done their belts. Be it for Sephiroth, Cloud, Genesis, Zacks or Angeals.
Thanks! ~

But if you want to see how my belt turned out, have a look at my gallery at Angeal. __________________ CosplayIsland Staff Member |

Your belt looks very awesome! Is that just leather you used? I got told by one of my friends I may have to fortify it with card. |

Using pleather is always the best to go with making the belt, and I doubt you'd need to add card to it. At most you could double up on the pleather if you really need to. Not to mention the sewing of the edges and the adding of the SOLIDER emblem will help keep it "sturdy" Progress pictures shuold hopefully be up soon when I get started on them. X3 |

Yeah i'd totally suggest velcro, and maybe have some backup supports just incase the velcro tries to be mischevious |

Though because it's a tight fitting belt I'd use both velcro and studs to be sure. Then once its in place just sew the seam down the back? |

Luckerly with Seph you can't see the back. |
