I was wondering if I could enlist some cosplayers to do things like surveys and interviews. Please note that if you don't want to be named you're free to be anonymous, or use screen-names or your real names, whatever you want, and it will have a mixture of just ticks etc. and some that you can give longer answers IF YOU WANT TO. I'm doing a dissertation on people's reasons for getting into cosplay, and what the love most about it, what they hate about it, whether people buy pre-made cosplays or make them, how much they spend on it, conventions, but it will hopefully be quite quick to fill out.

Thank you every single person who did this survey so far, it's so useful already haha, especially all your comments on what you love/hate about cosplay, they're all exactly what i need, and it's so interesting seeing what you guys feel about it and seeing similarities. You are all amazing, and i can't thank you enough. Please, if you don't mind, encourage cosplay friends to help, it doesn't take too long to fill out and you're doing me a big favour.

I'm also going to be at the Wrexham convention in April doing interviews, but it helps having this all in writing already, plus i know some people like anonymity when it comes to this haha

Luckily mine doesn't actually have to be started until next year, but i thought i should jump on it, and i'm eager to get started tbh, it's something i'm already interested in, so why not?

Fair enough, can you start it a year early? I couldn't do that as I had a lit review to do first and I had to wait to get a diss tutor, but it's all sorted now so the heat is on!!

yeah we've got to do a lit/state of the art review for it too but they haven't said that we're not allowed to start collecting data for it Even encouraged us to do so
