Hello there,
I guess that it's about time that I introduce myself here on the forums (I've no idea why I haven't done it earlier, I joined this site last year... I don't remember exactly when, but I've been here for at least five months or something like that).

Anyway, the name’s Caius and I’m a person who’s 20 years old. I live in a place known as Sweden, so my English isn’t exactly the best one (I want to be fluent in English, so a part of me has been thinking about to move to the UK in order to practice more)... So I beg your pardon in advance for any grammar failures and spelling mistakes, etc.

I usually say that my greatest interest in this world is to create, and that’s something I do in more ways than one. I photograph, illustrate, write and have as a habit to always try something new that I can use to show off my creative side. I also happen to like both anime and manga a whole lot (let’s put it short and I’ll just say that my favourites are the following ones (no specific order whatsoever); Kuroshitsuji, Panodra Hearts, Nabari no Ou, Ao no Exorcist, Waltz, Maoh: Juvenile Remix, La storia della Arcana Famiglia and Deadman Wonderland), music, books, movies, games, the universe, mythology and legends and history. I’m very fond of old things (especially books and cameras, they’re amazing) and I’m obsessed with demons and dragons.

Of course, I’m also interested in cosplay as well. I’ve been into it since late 2007 / early 2008, but I wasn’t allowed to cosplay or to visit conventions back then (parents you know.....). It wasn’t until the middle of May 2012 that I decided to disobey my parents (after all, I was deemed as an adult after I turned 18, so I regret that I didn't disobey them back in 2011) and started with my first cosplay... I guess that I was caught in it, more or less. And decided due to some inspiring panels during Uppcon 2012 that I wanted to become better (especially when it comes to sewing and making costumes in general... In truth, before I made my first costume I had only sewed clothes twice; the first time back in 2005 when I made a waistcoat and the second time back in 2010 when I made a Halloween costume... So I’m quite the newbie when it comes to sewing clothes, but I really like it, so that’s why I’m aiming to improve with everything I sew).

Well, I suppose this introduction of mine shall come to its end now.
~Be well

No pain, no game.

Hi welcome to cI (even if you have been around for a while )
It's nice to have people from outside the UK on here and don't worry about your English too much some of us on here have poor English and it's our first language ^^

You're not the first person that I know who's parents have said no to cosplay :/ I mean I got into it after 18 which may have been a difference but I think my mum thinks it's cool as long as it keeps me happy and I don't do anything stupid! 2bh I think my bf has worse opinions of my cosplaying because he's worried people will 'oggle' O_O
