That would be awsome! But no offence to people in london but i dont think it should be in london... loads of things are in london >___<;; and i find them really hard to get to! Somwhere in the midlands would be much better in my opinion ^___^;; Hehe

And i think it would be very helpful for people who want to cosplay but arnt sure how to start

fufufufu, It should be in Scotland, not enough things are in Scotland... XD

Waa but what about us down in the South! *flails* Scotland is too far to get to! >.<

Maybe somewhere smack-bang in the middle of the country should work?

I'm going to slash your pillow and tear out all the stuffing with a motorbike made of jelly.

*does psycho Tomoyo laugh* hohohohoho! I think it should be somewhere in the SouthWest... say... Taunton... or Bristol... or even Exeter! xD? XD

Well there ARE usually no events apart from the Comic Expo xP...

But I agree that the Midlands would be a pretty nice place to have it... it's bang in the middle of the country which is good ^_^

I second the south west!

Seriously though, I'd definitely be up for something like this - despite how long I've been cosplaying, I figure there's always room to improve your knowledge!

I do think a one-day event might be better though, at least to get started. Alternatively, you could see if there are any pre-existing costuming conventions (I know I read about one a few years ago that had been running successfully for some time) and see how they'd feel about bumping up their anime/manga/game cosplay content. That way you could get a feel for how they do things and see what kind of interest you get from attendees, so you could eventually branch off and do something on your own (and it'd reduce your costs).

This sounds like a brilliant idea! I would have killed for something like this ages ago XD I do agree with a one day trial first to see how it goes but this would be great for either beginners or advanced cosplayers - There's so many areas of cosplay that would be helpful to know - I soo wanna be taught how to make a prop and even back to basics like choosing the right fabrics for a particular character ^_~ I agree that it should be held round the summer period. The only thing that could stop me from attending is the location really...^^;;; But hope this idea goes well ^^ Good luck!

I'll be well up for this. Just give a decent date and a location(money providing ).

It will be a nice change of pace from yer regular events for peeps (like myself) on the look out for improving techniques in costume making.

We give thanks to this tasy meal.
