I'm a London based geek with a keep interest in photography.

I am looking for costumers interested in photoshoots. Both for fun and to improve my skills.

I was pretty much the "official" photographer so to speak at the kapow coventions in London, so if you went there in costume I most likely took your picture near the door.

EDIT: I forgot to say that some of the pics I've taken have made it to cosplay recaps of sites like comics alliance, gamma squad or OMG DJ Judy's Tumblr

I will be at some point at London Supercon (not sure yet what days) and I have some shoots booked there, but I'll most likely be able to squeeze more time.

Ironically I do have a film school background but it's like I'm learning all over again

And just a bit of background on the way I "work" for those interested.

After setting a date/time with the costumer we normally discuss what costumes is he/she going to bring and we sort of agree of a tone for the shoot.
Having the costume in mind I´d think and scout for locations if they don´t have any in mind and we work from there.
I usually have into account the character they are portraying so it can be more or less in context, I think the Robin/Kid Loki shoots are a good example of that.

And of course, have fun with it.

Also I´d be showing the progress and the pics to the cosplayer as we go along so they can veto/select the ones they like better.
Once done I try to edit them and upload as soon as I can and I will never upload or blog any that they are not happy with.

I upload high res versions to a drop box so they can get them when they want for their use, prints, etc...

When uploading them to flickr I always link to the cosplayer´s blog/site if it is part of a shoot )normally in a con I can´t always get those details=
