Recommended websites???
Hello all!

Now i know any old chump can have a gander on the internet.. which i have. But i was wondering if anyone could recommend a good site (or several) for all the various materials, foams, adhesives and whatnot associated with costume design?

Any help at all would be welcomed!

Im sure i'll be inundated with response, so thanks in advance..

honestly it depends what you're after...

both Ebay and Amazon are really good for crafting bits, but it's worth using your imagination sometimes and hunting around...

like one of the most popular base materials for foam armor, is actually those foam mats you can get on amazon cheap for storage spaces...

So it's just worth thinking about your design, what sort of materials you actually need, and looking around places like Amazon and Ebay for good deals that you can cannibalize

Cheers chief,

was just checking to see if there was some wonder emporium that everyone uses!

Yeah for foam i thought something like the old roll mats ive got from the Army. Would furniture foam/sponge work for shaping and sewing material around?

deffs gonna need first aid kits if I start sewing!

anytime...

no, aside from Ebay, there isn't any real 'epic store' that covers everything.

Roll mats are a good choice... i've heard of a few people using furniture foam then coating it in a latex based paint for weapons and armor.

Not a one-stop, or a wondershop, but you'd be amazed how many useful cosplay things you can find in £1 and 99p discount shops!
