sorry to be a bother but as part of my kusanagi cosplay i've been searching for months for an orangey leather jacket. i found this on ebay...they do various sizes in mens and womens. quite expensive but i think with some work it could look really good. better than anything i could make! what do you think?  |

I just had a glance at it on ebay, and yeah... its pretty expensive, but honestly its pretty close as it is, so it wouldent matter soo much if your don't do anything to it! I would go for the next size up because Motoko's is fairly baggy BUT the Jacket itself is actually a mens jacket so it might already have a baggy style... It might be worth asking the seller how baggy it would be on someone of your size and shape? Buuut its your call, I think its a good jacket and will work well whether you choose the next size up or not  __________________  |

Buuut its your call, I think its a good jacket and will work well whether you choose the next size up or not Thanks for having a look at it for me! i'll definately contact the seller about sizing, they have a womans one but only have small, xxl and xxxl...which are definately no good! will have a little think about it, i always fear the real chance that i'll go into a charity shop a week after buying it and see something perfect for 10 quid. but hey. i guess i've gotta take the risk! thinking i might use leather dye on it to make it more orange, but obviously i'd wait til it arrived to decide! |

Yeah contacting them would be your safest bet ;] And I know exactly what you mean about charity shops, so it might be worth dedicating a day to scouring all of your local charity shops just in case xD Also, its also worth describing the Jacket you want to the shopkeepers as they have a whole load of stuff out back so they might just have what your looking for

Good luck! yeah, might have to have a shopping day. i lived and studied in manchester and there are so many charity/'vintage' clothing shops around there. particularly thinking of a place called 'ryans vintage' which might be a possibility. can't see the ebay jacket selling really quick so i may have a day in manchester on saturday just to put my mind at ease before potentially blowing a lot of moolah! x |
