CZN-M22/cz100 cosplay gun for kusanagi costume
A 'major' part of my kusanagi costume that i want to get right is her weaponry. preferably the czn-m22 which is based on a p90.

i'm looking for a replica p90 or replica cz100.
i know the replica p90 wouldn't load in the same way as kusanagis fictional czn-m22 but it would be really close.

alternatively, i'd love to find someone who takes commissions for these types of projects!

please help

lora x

Here's a nice video showing how someone else created the P90 mod which might be useful

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Wf6rB_OtUA

He's actually modded an airsoft P90 and put back m7 working parts which won't be necessary for a prop gun but it's very intresting to see the process.

And this is his DA page: http://renegadecow.deviantart.com/art/Ghost-in-the-Shell-CZN-M22-274700109

As for BB P90 bases you could try this one:

I've ordered from these people before and not had an problems

i saw the p90 mod a couple of weeks ago, its amazing isn't it!!!! wish i had the skills/time/equipment to create such a masterpiece!

the bb gun link is great thankyou, its definately an option a something cheaper that i could just mod for now!

eventually i'd like something pretty spot on but the bb with a bit of tweaking would be passable i think?

and in truth, i've never seen a kusanagi cosplayer with a really accurate gun.

the cz100 should be easier to get hold of (i hope) cos its virtually identical to an existing weapon!

thanks alot for your help, much appreciated x

people often describe the czn-m22 as being a mix of the p90 and a famas...

i think the famas bb looks good on here too... could be modded?

No worries. Yeah that gun mod is gorgeous And in the toss up between a FAMAS and P90 I would always go FAMAS as I don't really like P90's but that is purely personal choice coming into it

I think with the modding it's best to look at both guns and think realistically what would you rather do. Though since looking at the FAMAS properly it does already have curly front part and the correct grip I do agree it would be easier to mod. You won't need to worry about ripping handles from other guns and such. You could just use card even to cover that top box and then a dremel style multitool to sand the gap between the curly piece and the handgrip then bad the curly bit out with foam or card

Plus it's still a good sized replica I think go with the FAMAS. You could even get it to open correctly if you disasemble it, rip out all the internals and then cut it in half and glue all the lose top bits to the top part and bottom bits to bottom part respectively. I also think that would make for awesome photos reloading it in the unorthodox sideways manner - with this alone people will overlook the fact it's a FAMAS.

Luckily with working as an art technician in a high school i have full access to the tech department so i can lasercut my own designs in wood/acrylic and also vacuum form. i reckon i could do a better job with the famas!

looks like i know what i'm having for my birthday

i think you're spot on with your ideas and it would make for some first class shots

cheers x
