Girdle or corset
Hi
Some of you have met me . I am the guy who dresses as Wonder Woman to raise money for son's charity Muscular Dystrophy.
My wife has made me a new Wonder Woman costume. It has been suggested by a few people I should wear a corset of long body girdle to give me a better shape.
What are the pro's and cons on both please?
Advice would be helpful
From any woman who has worn them and any guy who has worn them. I have 6 comic cons,7 supermarkets, and 22 street collections this year to raise money for the charity. My wife and I want me to look my best and hopefully raise lots for the charity.
Helpful suggestions please

I don't know if this will be of any help to you; http://www.translife.co.uk/blog/2011/09/crossdressing-getting-the-female-shape/

I know it's generally aimed at transgenders, but you're essentially trying to achieve the same goal as them.

This sitehttp://www.deliciousboutique.com/DELICIOUS-CORSETS-CORSETS-FOR-MEN.html" class="bb-url" target="_blank">Delicious boutique does a range of corsets for men too. They custom make them to order, I believe, but I don't really know how they work.

Corsets:

Pro -

They give a very smooth hour glass figure to your entire torso.

Properly laced, a corset might feel snug but is generally very comfortable.

Con -

If you lace it too tight it will be uncomfortable. Also make sure the lengh is right for your torso - too long and sitting down becomes tricky.

The first time putting it on can be difficult and you might need someone else to lace it (but if you buy one with front snaps it will be easy to get on and off once the lace is sorted).

There are also different types of corsets avaialble which you should consider - e.g. steel or plastic boned.

Hi, I wear corsets often and while I'm not very familiar with wearing girdles, corsets will probably give you a better shape but you may have issues with the strings. If wearing the corset under the costume you may have to tuck the strings up into the corset or you will have a lump at the back of the costume.
I recommend wearing a corset several times before any event to give you time to get used to it, if you pick a corset over a girdle.

I've worn corsets before and find them very comfortable. For a first timer I'd recommend no more than 2" waist reduction, although the larger you are the more you should be able to safely compress, and maybe a flexible boned corset. I'm not 100% on if theres any difference wearing it for MtF crossplay, so I'd probably check then links for how trans women wear them as above. A corset will in principle give you the hourglass shape you want though by pulling in your waist. The other thing is to try wearing it in laced fairly loose to get it to relax.
