my next upcoming cosplay is vanellope von schweetz (wreak it Ralph )and im stuck on the Twizzlers piece of candy she has to tie her hair up

any ideas on how to attached it?!! <3

You get these things called twisty ties which are long (80cm) foam covered wire. You could maybe cut one of these down to the right size and paint it to make it look like the candy cane and maybe attach some hair clips into it to clip into your hair, maybe.

I've seen it done very well using tubular crin, twisted together. There was a great tutorial on Tumblr but I can't find it again.

it looks a bit like the cosplayer linked used some sort of oven baked clay like sculpey or fimo for example then varnished it to make it shiny
