So here's the story:

I was originally planning to go as Pinkie Pie for my next con, and had t all planned out, what I need to buy, everything. Then I woke up this morning with another "brilliant" idea. Why don't I go as Fem-Zorro from One Piece? My boyfriend did Zoro last year, so it would be awesome-sexy-fun-cool and Id have swords if I ran out of time to make them. Plus, it fits much better into my $500 budget.

However, last year I had also tried cross-playing, and it really wasn't my thing. So I told my self that this year I'd be super cute and feminine to make up for it. Pinkie Pie would make a for quite an adorable and fun cosplay, but now I'm being sidetracked by this new idea.

So....any advice? (@o@);

Ah I know the feeling when something new and exciting grabs you and takes the place of other things. I'd say think on it a bit more and see if the idea still feels as exciting in a day or two's time. I'd lean towards doing what you've planned out already and setting aside the new thing for the next project.

I agree. I think there's no reason why you can't do your Fem Zoro at another event in future but for now since you've probably planned more of Pinkie Pie without even relising it stick with it
