Hey guys, I couldn't see a thread for this so making one myself

Just wondering who's coming and what they're cosplaying? Are there any groups being organized?
(I know there's the forum on the Gemu page, but it isn't half as active as this place )

Not entirely sure on my cosplay list so far but for definate I have:

Terra Branford - FFVI
Popuri - Harvest Moon (with Madamelapin as Ann)

Probably will do rewears for the rest of the con, Skyward sword Zelda is looking likely c:

No idea what to bring, cosplay is the last thing on my agenda for these next few weeks XD;

My only definite is Noel Vermillion from Blazblue, my friend is being Litchi from the same series! No idea what day either, but Noel is a rewear for me.

I have provisional plans for Garnet from FFIX in her coronation dress, basically if it's done in time, I'll bring it. Or if I cut my hair from rage then err, awkward - I don't want a wig!

Then I just have to choose from:
- Mitsuru (Persona 3)
- Rise/Chie (Persona 4)
- Miki (iDOLM@STER)
- Rinoa (Final Fantasy VIII)
- Chun Li (Street Fighter)
as my third costume.

Ill be there Living so close and all I just cannot resist signing up!

I have scope for another, I was hoping to get in shape so I could cosplay Vega or someone from Street Fighter but that won't be a possibility unless I spend a lot more time working out.

A friend of mine suggested Hayato Nekketsu for me from Rival Schools. I haven't played that in aaaaages but I did enjoy that character too, so maybe.

Suggestions welcome.

Also I know I plug this so very much but I've arranged a pre-con for the thursday before Gemu; 4th April. It'll be at Brass Monkey which is a fantastic cocktail bar in Nottingham, and we've got our own area along with happy hour prices all night till 3am, and £3 for single mixers and beer. The committee will also be there in classy dress, some of us are there in cosplay too ;D

I was wanting to do a fighting game cosplay too, couldn't decide between Street Fighter or King of Fighters. Now swaying back to Street Fighter!



That sounds like a good idea, great way to start up a convention! I'll need to see what my roommate fancies doing too but if we fancy chilling out at a bar then we'll definitely head over. Can't say no to cheap cocktails!

I'm not sure what the rest of my SF group are planning, but I know one of my friends is doing Cody at least So yeah, you should totally do Chun Li

Don't worry too much. I'm not particularly difficult to find in a crowd and I reckon I'd be breaking ice all weekend for people :3 I get a feeling I'll finish with a larger group than when I started.

But if I get a bunch who wanna head back to the cocktail bar for a bit on friday or saturday try to find me if you wanna head over.

I've noticed that the Gemu forums are pretty much dead too
But I too will be breaking ice and happy to let people new people into our con family
I am cosplaying Juliet from lollipop chainsaw (hopefully with chainsaw and nick head if i can get my hands on more money), Shaundi from Saints row 3 with 2 other people in our group and Mad Moxxi from Borderlands 2
All these cosplays have made me flat broke >.< being a nerd is such a sad poor life

I'll very likely be bringing Jace Beleren and Ash Crimson. And something else, but I've not decided on that yet.

I'm also attending I'm not entirely sure what I'm cosplaying yet, but probably Maestroke the symphony Djinn, and Morrigan from Darkstalkers as some considerations. I'm still in the planning process, but I'm really looking forward to it C:

Thanks to Bristol Cosplay Clubnight, Ino and myself have aquired unexpected tickets to Gemucon, whoop! Looks like we'll be coming along too, then. XD
We don't have any real set cosplay plans, as of yet, but I'm pretty sure there will be a bit of Final Fantasy involved since most of our video game cosplays originated from that series. Maybe some Basara? Persona? Not too sure yet.
Does anyone know of any Final Fantasy groups happening?

Also, Cap. Marvelous, you're taking Snow? In which case Ino and I will DEFFO have to bring Lightning and Hope! X3

And about the final fantasy cosplays. No wind of a group yet but many people will be cosplaying from it from what I have heard and read on the internet.

Nice to see people chatting about Gemucon - the Forums are a grave yard, no activity what so ever :C

I'm only making one New cosplay for Gemucon, Amy from Soul Calibur 4, because of time restraints, but I'm updating a couple of others like my Juri Han and my Elizabeth.
Also dieting like a boss for the event too.

Looking forward to it, been ages since I've done some cosplaying XD
