Just wondering if anyone could help with ideas for my boyfriend, im wanting to go to the next event with him but he does not have kind of costumes and im struggling to find something that matches how he looks.

Any ideas from anyone would be great

What does he like (eg. games, live action tv, anime)?

If you're going together then why not try a character that will go with whatever you're cosplaying?

Picking a character who you think you resemble can be a good start but its important to like the character too, so at least something to narrow down suggestions would help!

I believe he is happy with anything, he just want to get in with the people who actual dress up and not just turn up in the event in normal clothing, dont like to be boring

I really think he would make a great Booker from Bioshock Infinite (To be Released in Feb this year)

Wow, he is actually the spitting image of Renly Baratheon from Game of Thrones! If that's not his thing then I'd second Nathan Drake from Uncharted.

Whilst he could get away with any of the Assassin's, I think he'd especially suit younger Ezio from AC2

Though I agree with sandlynx - he'd make a good Booker, as well as Renly or Little Finger from Game of Thrones. With a wig, he could also do Aragon/Strider from Lord of The Rings, or Boromir.

If he's just getting into cosplay, then perhaps you two could do something together? As it stands, I'm a firm believer it's not necessary to look like your character - with the right make-up effects you can get pretty damn close to anything. The biggest issue is build.

Really think the idea of one of the Assassin's might work out, price is not a problem now

Might i suggest Sam fisher from Splinter Cell conviction!

Hhmmm, I see him as a Dr. House type or Nick from Left 4 Dead 2 (The guy who looks like he came from Miami Vice). As for yourself, if he goes with Nick, you could always try one of the other Survivors (Zoey from the first game) or maybe one of the zombies (Witch is always a good idea)

It might run the risk of not getting recognised, due to their clothes being a bit on the "mundane" side but, if time ends up getting a little tight, you could always have Jack Rourke (on the right) and Sam Harper from Need For Speed: The Run as a fallback alternative.

Or, if he's a Resident Evil fan, why not try suggesting Carlos Olivera (game version / movie version)?

Aside from those, the ideas above have been pretty damn good so far!
