What's a good price for cosplay photos?
What's a good price to hire professional photographer for cosplay photos? I'm ready to bring my cosplay to a new level with professional photos but I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it.

Thank you in advance.

That really depends on the photographer, they generally set their own prices. you'd be expected to cover their travel costs, a shooting fee and an editing fee [if applicable].

You also have to pay a bit more to get full copyright of imagery - but again this does depend on the photographer. Most cosplay photographers shoot free and give imagery out freely. If you want something specific it's more a case of seeking someone's work out and checking their rates.

The real question is how much you yourself are prepared to pay for the images.

Like stated, it depends on the photographer. Take a look at their body of work, and judge if you think the price their asking is acceptable for you. You get plenty of photographers at events that will do it for free, though some do charge if they have all the fancy screening and such.

It honestly depends on what you want. If you want to go to a set location, have photos taken then edited then it depends on the "level" the photographer is at. Also, there are incredibly good amateur photographers who are dying to get a bigger body of work for their portfolio - they generally have very low prices or are free, unless you need to cover their travel expenses.
