The cosplay I'm interested in buying (Melty from shining hearts- sorry, can't link on phone) in X-small is absolutely perfect for my measurements, except the guidelines recommend it for a 5'2 girl when I'm 5'7.5/5'8.

This was all very well and dandy, and I thought: 'hey, just get it custom-made' but then I was told it's about £40 more.

My question is, could I possibly save my £40 by buying a small, or is that short dress going to turn into a full-out tarty-affair ??

I know I probably sound really thick, but that's because I am.

Generally, clothing for someone 5'2" is shorter on the torso, so I think you'll find that it won't fit properly.

There are sellers around that will do a custom-made costume for no extra cost, cosplayfu is such a shop so you can try there.

Ah, I would try Cosplayfu again, but I've become weirdly attached to the costume-design of this poor seller. They're great, though!
