Hello everyone!

My name is Tatiana, 24 years old, and I am from the Netherlands I have always loved dressing up, but I am pretty new to the concept of cosplay.

I am working on several Daenerys Targaryen (from the Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire) costumes at the moment, ( you can check the progress on those costumes here) ) to wear at the Elf Fantasy Fair in April next year.

Unfortunately, there isn't a really big fantasy or cosplay community and events in the Netherlands (at least, not that I know of), so I am hoping to get to know some more people with the same passion over here

Hi Tatiana, welcome to Cosplay Island. I hope you enjoy your time here.

There is an event held in London in October called the Euro Cosplay Championships which has participants from all over Europe who compete. There were two entrants from the Netherlands who were finalists from events in Netherlands.

The two Netherland events for 2012 are:
Animecon - World Forum, The Hague
Abunai! - NH Koningshof, Veldhoven

I know they're anime conventions but you could find some like minded cosplayers at these events.
