I know you can ink die a wig with acrylic ink and rubbing alcohol but Im stumped as to what colours to use to get this wig to my desired colour which is a reddy brown more to the red side.

When I ordered my wig it was the right colour in the picture but turned up BRIGHT red but for the quality plus it came with two bunchies for £14 I wasnt wanting to return it. Plus Id only really need to go darker but if anyone could pointer me into what colour inks i might have to use to get it to the colour i want it would be awesome

I'd mix my own colour, using a bright red and a dark brown. You might be able to find a blood red ink, which might be a better shade to start with.

Anyway, have test patch underneath where it won't be seen, and slowly darken your mix in a spray bottle, trying each time you darken it.

The only time it wouldn't is if you want to get it lighter or wanting to change it to blue, or something dramatic like that. Getting a darker shade of red will be fine ^_^

Also you could try colouring it with a Sharpie as opposed to using Ink. When I used ink I over saturated the wig and when I wore it it bled blue all over my cosplay But when I used a sharpie I didn't have this problem though the sharpie method is way more time consuming but I agree with previous post because you are darkening the wig it will work
