When i cosplayed Kittan i couldnt see any way around the wig problem...

so i bleached my hair :S

Sorry dude may not have been the answer you are looking for but its the only one i have

Hair as short as kittans on the sides on a regular wig would show off the netting underneeth and would just look bad.

Yeah i did the same when i cosplayed Kittan at Minami Con 14 (though MangaChild did a better job with the hair than me).

I think the best bet would be to commission a wig with the blond quiff on top and the brown under cut included as well (that's what i plan to do as and when i cosplay Kittan again), though in all honesty i have no idea how much that'll cost, but expect it to be cheap.

It shouldn't be too hard to do. All you'll need it a thick blonde wig and some dye. The wig I used for Trowa was as long as the fringe on it but I cut it all away. The only thing you'd have to do differently would be to apply the dye afterwards. Just remember not to get just a regular wig or the wefts are going to show through when you cut it back.

just simple ones really i have a few old blonde wigs i can try and use.

was thinking maybe just to get a wig that covered the top of my head and make it bright yellow that way my blonde hair might look darker for the sides or i could darken it. also maybe somehow add to a wig and build it up into a more solid shape so it looks more crafted but this are just random thoughts ^^

i'll take a look at that link, thanks im sure i'll figure it out somehow

You could use spray dye on the sides of your natural hair, spray dye is non permament hair spray dye you should be able to get it from any party shop.

If your hair is naturally light it will give a good contrast to the top wig colour

I cant see how you will manage top get the top blonde part to stay on? if you can find a way this could work
