Hi! Wondering how many people are going to Birmingham Memorabilia - I've never been before and I was wondering what it's like in terms of cosplay, I'd quite like to wear my Supergirl costume (and if there are any photographers going, get a few more photos of the costume) but I don't know whether that would be out of place.

I'm going and I will be cosplaying. I don't think you get as many as you do at other events (though it's been a while since I've been to a straight-up Memorabilia event without Expo attached) but people still do.

I'm going, I went to the one in april (at least I think it was april) and its pretty ok for cosplaying so you wouldn't be outta place, and I'm taking Arwen and Jean Grey. I'll be bringing my camera with me as well if you want pics =]
its kinda like expo but more chilled out and not as crowded.

I'm hoping to go in March, and I've heard that one is being attached to an Expo, like London's October one was? I've never been before, so do you reckon that'll mean a bigger turn-out of cosplayers, or what? "/

in terms of cosplays and photos last year there was a small numer of cosplayers but there were some people who took pics and most of the cosplays were tv and movie cosplays rather than anime/manga cosplays

ill be going as an anime caracter for this one cause i dont have much of an interest in movie and tv cosplay

Oh yea for Arwen. I'll be going. Haven't been to one in a very long time (last time I went was about 2005ish). I'll be there as Legolas and Clint 'Hawkeye' Barton. Not sure which day I'm wearing what but I will keep an eye out for your Arwen.

I'll be there on Saturday. I'm doing a mini Disney group with me as Simba, and my friends as either Nala/Zazu and Aladdin

well I've swapped out Jean Grey for Peggy Carter, but still definitely taking Arwen. it'll likely be Arwen on Saturday and Peggy Sunday.
just hope everything turns up in time for both costumes! *fingers crossed*

Sadly, bow isn't going quite according to plan so its unlikely that Legolas will make it now. If my Haldir still fits I might wear that. Its more likely that I'll wear my shield agent Clint Barton both days.
