I was wondering if it would be possible to hang the tongue over at the top and use some kind of dye pen or something? And to dye the White shoelaces, Red?

This guarantees a consistent color, is far less effort and could be reversed should you wish to use the shoes again for something else. __________________  |

That's how long the XX Hi laces are. Also I'm no good at sewing so this would be no good really, otherwise I would try it xD Is there a way to temporarily stick fabric to it instead, without using permanent glue?
