Hey everyone!
So, I'm Henry, 21 etc etc

I've not really done proper cosplay before but I deffo wanna start getting into it. It's mainly come down to ''If I'm going to do it, I want it to be done properly''. None of this shop bought stuff or anything cheap and tacky.

Anyway, I'll be asking alot of advice on the best places to get certain parts for any cosplay outfits I decide to do for any expos.

Thanks alot.

Henry.

Hello Henry, good to see your enthusiasm.

You'll be surprised to see that even cosplayers fall into the trap of cheap and tacky, often there isn't a choice and sometimes they don't care either. A lot of debate goes on about what defines a cosplayer; the nomenclature and semantics of it all, but tbh.. just do what you want and have fun.

Feel free to ask questions and get properly stuck in. The best advice I can give is if you really want to go at it full pelt, learn to make it all yourself. There are tutorials, workshops and everything you'll need at your disposal. I think you'll get a lot more out of it that way, I find it's enjoyable too like that.

Plus, you wow everyone when they ask you where you get your props from when you say you made it yourself.
