Skyward Sword: Zelda cosplay sailcloth help
Hello again!

I need some more help >.< I've hit a bit of a wall with the sailcloth/wrap/shawl that Zelda wears. This picture shows how it's tied (It goes over the shoulders and then under the arms and ties at the back.): http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&q=zelda+sailcloth#/d4oiz4a

And this is a screenshot of her wearing the shawl in the game: http://www9.pcmag.com/media/images/327315-the-legend-of-zelda-skyward-sword.jpg?thumb=y

I have tried tying it like how she has it, but with the cotton fabric I have (1.5 meters of white cotton) I can tie it perfectly fine, but then I can't move my upper arms too far from my body, and I don't like that feeling.

How I'm trying to tie it is I fold it in half on the long edge so it's rectangular, and then going over my shoulders, under ym arms and tie at the back.

Can I have some help on how to tie it so that it dosen't constrict my arms too much (I'm going to be wearing it at Hyper Japan, so I need to wear it pretty much all day)? If it is really impossible, I guess I can only wear it for the parade and outside, but it would be nice if I could wear it. I also don't really have enough money to buy a strechy fabric (Which would've been a better idea in the first place, silly me >.<

You forgot about one thing;

Zelda is a video game character. As such, she is not bound by the laws of physics.

Whilst the sail cloak is probably the same amount as you think and have made it, it's not long enough to be bound like that and offer free movement. For going around HJ, just wear it as a shawl (not tied at the back) then for everything else tie it up at the back ;p
