firstly, hey to all out there

Found this website on a whim actually, and thought i'd join in the fun...

I've been a cosplayer for a while, though never actually done it seriously for events before... this October in London for entertainment media show will be my first time 'out' in costume so to speak, so i was wondering how many others will be there?

I'll be the one as Walter C Dornez, wandering around with a camera and looking bemused lol

Pretty new to it on a whole, but looking forward to the Collectomania event and meeting likeminded people

I'm fairly new myself. The Expo will be my first con - I'm really looking forward to it

I was tempted by that, but was told repeatedly that Collectomania was a better event...

Not sure to either really as haven't attended before, but it looks like collectomania in London will be my first one

I did want to go to Collectormania, and still might. Unfortunately it clashes with my birthday weekend, and I already have plans for that Might be able to sneak up for a day though.

ohh birthday event as well, well, there's a reason to make it an extra special event then

It really depends on how much of a hangover I have! lol

Still, the Expo should be a giggle. I'm going for the whole weekend

for the Collectomania event, i know 5 or 6 people local to me that are heading to it, so we are all heading up together

You really should go! Once you get talking to people on here you'll soon find others you can meet up with. They are quite a friendly bunch on here

And you know I'll be there - you can always come and say hello

yeah, i'm sure both events are fun...

was just looking at the 'Events' area on here, and there's a lot more people attending MCM than Collectomania apparently...

Not to mention more Hellsing cosplayers... where there's none at Collectomania so far...

So it looks like MCM might be a better bet for me anyway

MCM does seem to be quite popular. I like Dragon Age and Mass Effect and there are alot of people going in those cosplays.
