fibre glass
a local (large) diy store is closing down and are selling things off dirt cheap so i was thinking nows a good time to try fibre glass for props and stuff. does anyone have any advice?

Well ventilated work area, proper breathing mask (not the rubbish little dust ones!) and use gloves/dont work with it with bare hands.

Asides that, I dont doubt there's people on here somewhere that have worked with it that can be a lot more specific/useful.

Oh also bare in mind that lots of events won't allow you to have non-armour props made of the stuff, and even then some are still wary!

Also, don't use it in a place like your sitting room or something because remember it's fibres of glass, get that in your carpet or on your floor or something and you'll have minute shards of glass lying around.

AFAIK, everyone that's ever used it hates the stuff
