Anyone know a good UK place to buy Cosplays, Lolitas or to find cute japanese fashion that I can style my clothes after with UK store clothes? Its for Hyper Japan *if I can go* I want to waer something else as well as my Sakura Haruno Cosplay (I'm hoping to volunteer ^^)

There are some really cute shops in camden and also one in the lanes in Brighton. I'm not sure how expensive they are but they are generally Lolita copies so the quality isn't as good as if your buying the real deal.

Also you could try websites like:

I know it's not strictly lolita but you can buy al lot of gumball charms to make your own lolita piece

Though if you want to have a go at making your own dress I highly recommend Gosu Rori (Gosu Loli) magazine. It includes various styles of outfits from sweet, punk and gothic. And includes a pattern for most of the outfits pictured (some are advertising.) But there good value for money - I think the last one I bought was £12 but you get around 15 outfit designs per magazine and they also give details on stylying tips and accessories - admittidly it's all in japanese but I have a guide somewhere saved on how to read the patterns or I could tell you what the translation is

I dress in a Lolita Aristocrat style for day to day wear and I am a size 6-10. I am having a massive clear out (some of my stuff is on ebay and I add more every day) but not quite sure if that is what you mean?

For Lolita stuff, try Bodline! They have some awesome stuff one there, and I can personnaly reccomend them to you, since I have bought loads of stuff. They are based in Asia, but their shipping is so fast. I ordered a dress, a wig,a bow and a bag from them on th 26th December (for New Years) And they arrived on the 30th. Really fast, and that wasn't EMS!

Might be worth looking on ebay. http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/personalizationproduct/?_trksid=p4340.l2559 This seller can be reasonable if you bid you can get a pretty good deal and even if you get outbid they sometimes give a second chance offer. I got mine for £30 inc postage.

Oooh, I LOVE this thread! I'm too much of a wimp to wear dresses normally, but those links are helpful for my Christmas dress

Can anyone elucidate on the sizing from these places? I'm a size 14 (sometimes a 16 if the size runs small), but in Japanese sizing that probably equates to an obese 32!
