My friend is cross-playing as Ma Kensei from History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, and we were wondering if any of you had good tips on attaching a fake moustache. We could only think of glue or sellotape or something, which isn't all that professional looking.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Here is a reference picture:

would spirit gum work or is that only for scars, thats what i used to glue the latex scars for my joker ^.^

Spirit Gum will work! It's mostly an "attach everything to face" tool.

Ok so we didn't do Kensei this time in the end, but we are planning to do so this October. I asked this question with the intention of buying the moustache and then attaching it, but I cannot find any similar moustaches anywhere.

So, my new problem:

Is there anywhere I can get a moustache like the one pictured above? Or can anyone give me tips on how to make a moustache?

I've worn more false moustaches than I care to count

I usually buy proper theatrical moustaches, because as well as looking really realistic, they also adhere somewhat better than your average joke shop felt ones (provided you use enough spirit gum). The moustache you're trying for is a bit awkward, because real moustaches don't behave like that, but the best match I've found is:

It's bushy enough to give the right effect, I think. They attach with spirit gum or prosaide - make sure you have the appropriate remover!

It's not cheap for something so small but these are made with real human hair and they're on a lace back so look very natural. It's up to you if you want to spend for the costume ^_^
