Today I got a message from this user;

One reason I want to chat with you is that I eventually want to work something out with you to help me make a painting of you in one of your costumes, I want to try something new with my art and I will start with Cosplay paintings. I have a small art gallery here in Missouri where I sell my work, I do this for a living and I often hire people (non cosplay models) for my work, if you are interested in something like that I could also give you a paid job to pose for a set of about 6 paintings, let me know if you are interested in that!
My CI profile is a little empty since I'm no cosplayer or photographer, but I have Facebook and other ways to contact me, you can ask for my cellphone or Skype, in the meantime there should be a Facebook button in my signature ( http://www.facebook.com/reggie.dhrty ), I have samples of my work in my photos.

THEY ARE A SCAMMER! She asks you to pose over video calls on skype, asking for sexual poses. If you refuse, she blocks you. If you go along with it, she then refuses to pay - if you press the issue she threatens to post the videos/photos online. Her art gallery does not exist and she uses a fake name. PLEASE, DO NOT RESPOND TO HER. I've sent a message asking to get her account deactivated but I thought it was best to warn people straight away too.

I got this too, This is the 3rd time in 3 months ive recived one of these messages. Why do I keep attracting all the weirdies >.>

I never get things like this. Clearly, I am not pretty enough (probably because I mainly cosplay men)

I got this message, told him I didnt have facebook. then he asked for my skype and I was like naaahh..
He seemed sketchy from the first message. this thread just confirms it XD

Anyone mention this to admins and such?

ive messaged the admins the user is potential dangerous to Under 18 users on the website, as well as over 18s

Well, you know what they say; if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. XD

I got this too, I just ignored it as I assumed it was some kind of spam ^^;

Thanks to all of you who flagged this up. I've disabled this account but ask people to keep an eye out for anything like this appearing in the future too.

The sheer amount of PMs in my inbox this morning concerning this account shows how vigilant you guys are - ignoring messages such as these and contacting any admin about this kind of thing is always the best thing to do, and means we can deal with it as swiftly as possible. Even if you're not quite sure if something is a problem, notifying us means that it's on our radar if it anything does happen.

Here's hoping we don't have many more of these kinds of people!
