Don't worry Fables, I didn't say we WOULDN'T I just think it's more likely that there will be organised things on the weekend for the more regular 'meetups' or excursions to the beach. I'm sure there will be chances during summer holidays for weekday cosplay frolics! I'm up for cosplay any day

Count me in, I was so sad we never went to the beach this Summer, we has to arrange something. The cosplay picnic was amazing too, we should do that especially since it's cheaper than travelling to Brid or something.

Yeah, I was a teeny bit worried about the money side of things... The picnic was alright 'cause I can afford to throw in some snacks and whathaveyou, and bowling only costs a couple of quid a turn (it's about £5 isn't it?), but the train to Brid... yipes trains can be expensive >< (Also, I can't get the bus or I'll just be very sick for the entire day and have to spend it sat in a cafe somewhere drinking water while you guys go and have fun XD)

Perhaps we can come up with some cheaper alternatives such as group ticket (is there such a thing? I know the family tickets aren't too bad), booking in advance, and things like that ^^

Actually when all is said and done for bowling the bridlignton trip wasnt that expensive O_- I was really shocked how much the return was. We shall look into it the next we are in town, but tbh im happy with any such gathering ^.^

This is out of the blue but weather it be for steampunk or for anime I would really like a tiny trip to york O_o its really nice there, is anyone intrested in that ^.^

It seems there are a few people in and around York, York would be a good place to go ^^ Again, trains are a teeny bit expensive for me but I'll see what I can do in summer. Steampunk photos around York is a good idea as York is just... one of those places? *giggle* If it's a trip to York late enough in summer I could wear Larsa to fit in with the old-world theme ^^ (Because gadzeus, you're not getting me in a corset, riding skirt, boots, gloves, leather gauntlets, and etc on a summers day O__O)

well Taz the bus was only 9 pounds return last we went ^^ thats not only awesome but its cost effective ^.^

1) I dun like being called 'Taz' on the internets please, because other people will start calling me it and it's really not my thing-- only close friends I know ^__^ (I didn't invent the nickname anyway O__O)
2) £9 is a lot of money to me. I feel quite offended and poor now. Literally I'm having to borrow money for everything I'm doing now in these next two weeks before business is back up and running (I have had to take a break to regroup and for exams and KitaCon cleaned me out), so I'm in a heapload of debt and £9 buys me food for three days. (My next three or four costumes are to be made from fabric and materials that I already have, I'm not spending anything on Chun Li, Tomoyo or Larsa.) £9 is a lot of money just to get there, because York is an expensive place to get drinks and suchlike anyway so I'll have to carry a packed lunch and heaploads of water and suchlike, I think I'll just end up knocking my wee self out. I don't class £9 as cost effective at all when you have no income at the minute. In fact because of the exchange rate I'm losing money on a commission I'm doing right now.

Aaanyway, how long does the bus take from Hull? I can be on a coach for longer, but for a bus I can't be on it any longer than 1 hour otherwise, as I said about Brid, I'll have to spend the time in a cafe drinking water and feeling ill. Or I'll just freak out and want off (you know my scaredyness). Maybe I'll sit York out after all thinking about it ^^' You guys have Steampunk fun, I'll wait for cosplay events ^^
