Hey guys, I want to make a Batman outfit for London's Oct Expo.
I heard making it from Liquid Latex is a good idea, but I don't want to get into the whole 'mould' stuff, as I'm next to useless when it comes to clay and so on, instead I found a tutorial that basically says to dress a mannequin in a black morph suit (or similar) and then paint on the latex with a brush. After a couple of layers, use a gym mat style foam to create the armour pieces, and then continue with the latex layers.
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this kind of build before I spend my money on the materials, and if there are any better ways of doing it ?
At the moment I'm just looking to get batman's body suit, aiming for his 'Dark Knight' build.
