Would this work?
Hey!

I'm just want to put this idea to people, and see if it would work. I have a good quality wig for Enchantress, but it's too short (comes to upper back rather than mid/lower back).

So, I thought "what if I get some hair extentions/longer wig and add it in?"

The issue is, the brand of wig is not one I normally come across online; it's a wonder wig by Stranded. So, the likelihood of me getting the wrong shade of blonde is high.

So, I'm wondering if it would work even if I got the wrong shade of blonde, and incorporate it into all of my wig as well, trying to make it look like natural highlights as well? As it stands, the wig is several shades too dark anyway, so it would help lighten the wig...

I know I could just get another wig, and forsake this one. But the fringe can be completely swept from your forehead, and moved about and stuff, so it's a really good wig... I dunno what to do lol. It's this, but in a shade similar to this, just a bit lighter.

The character is Enchantress although we went with a colour closer to this one as I don't really suit blonde hair much.

Sounds like it should work to me. So I say give it a go, esp as you say the fringe is so cooperative to styling. Worse that could happen is if it doesnt work out just remove all the extra wefts you put in and restore it.

Thanks Ranma. I like to just get a second opinion before I try these things lol

I s'pose if the colour is too different, I could always dye it to match as well.

That did only just occur to me

Hmm I dont know about the dying - what Ive read so far is that fabric dyes dont take to synthetic fibres used in wigs. But people have used sharpies successfully to tint, I guess Sharpies must be permenant ink type felt tip pens.
