Am I the only person who doesn't have crazy norm experiences? People either just shout random abuse/incoherrent catcalls at me or they don't bat an eyelid. I've had to speak to a lot of strangers in cosplay because of being in a different city and people at the station and things to make sure I know where I'm going (I never know what I'm doing half the time!) and generally these people are quite polite.

However me and Fishyfins managed to give the coach drivers a bit of gossip material. He just looked at us on the way to KitaCon (Dressed as Fool and Zelda) and said "This is weird." ... on the way back when we were out of costume he said.. "This is weird." .... I guess we just give off a vibe. People have asked why we're dressed up but generally it's alright.

However Fishyfins in a bright purple spandex catsuit managed to earn many shouts of "SUPERMAN!!"... I don't see how you get Superman from purple catsuit, long green curly hair and a card over one eye but hey ho ^^

both these incidents happened at minamicon 15

after making a quick stop by the cash machine in full crossplay as akira kogami from lucky channel and an older russian woman came towards me with a big smile said some stuff to me in russian and then gave me a hug then carried on her way i managed to make out the word funny amongst what she said

not really cosplay related but i wore a bunny hat to a nearby KFC where a drunk took a liking to it and offerd me his drivers licence so he could borrow it then later offering to buy it from me which i declined

oh and there was the mass gathering of minami patrons in mcdonalds which resulted in a mexican wave that confused the locals

Not had many experiences yet...

Done some cosplay at college, but that's a generally safe environment...

The worst one so far was last week:

Went to friend's house for random evening in, me and other friend decided "yeah, lets do a really casual cosplay!"

Which is basically me in jrock suspender trousers and a mini skirt, and her in her Cloud wig.

Friend had gone to cinema, so we walked about an hour to punch him in the face.

On the way there, random chavs actually go out of their way to alter their route and follow us.

Generic abuse, but I was actually groped.

I can only hope it was a compliment.

Well, when I did Joker for May Expo 2008. The film hadn't been released yet. So alot of people were suprised... inparticularly, some chinese tourists in a car who shouted "Joker!" in thick accents, whilst I was in my mum's car with three goons sitting around me. They raised their cameras, so I just had to pose. Was the first photo of the day and I wasn't even in the convention yet! So that was a great feeling too

Been looking for that photo ever since and still have yet to find it online. haha!

Ah yes. On the way to my last london expo i was told our hotel room won't be open when we land on the day so i wouldnt be able to change so.
Axl Low at an airport. Imagine if you will. i wasn't wearing my wig at the time but i was wearing my gloves, bandanna and weird jumper. It was awesome but the amount of looks i got on the plane was hilarious

Because we missed the shuttle bus from the expo yesterday, we ended up having a little group (read: 15/20 people) taking over London transport in an attempt to get back to Victoria station. It was amazing how fast the tube train cleared that first station after we got on. :3 But it also included us rickrolling a bus, and me announcing to the world that my documentary is going to be on fanservice. XD;; So much fun!

Well, when I was coming out of my hotel room on Sunday morning [for Expo] in Kagami cosplay, there was this German couple walking past my door. Their expressions when they saw the purple wig and the sailor fuku was priceless xD

Another funny moment was when I was cosplaying Hikaru. Came down the hotel stairs to a room full of tourists who looked at me in shock. It was hilarious LOL

*cracks up laughing* Oh dear, I'm actually laughing out loud XD;

As for me, I'm boring have no crazy experiences. Only thing I've ever experienced is freaking little children out whenever I wear a tail to service stations and the like... I'm a very boring person xD

I had a scary experiance recently...

Comming back from expo, i'd drank god knows how many bottles of coke, and had been traveling for about 30 minnuets when i decided i needed the loo, but i was still wearing my full sakuya costume, so whilst pulling up and walking in, me and my mum are pulling pins out of the leaves, obi EVERYWERE just so i could get it of, as the twins were waiting in the car, and entering, LITTRALLY everyone turnt and staired. ;_; i've never been so embarrased, and then to make it worse, in the actual loo's some random asian tourists whipped out their camera's and started taking photos. ;_;

So i warn you all, never use the motorway services in okami cosplay. D;

Walking through Cardiff city centre for a friends birthday One Piece meet and was wearing half my Franky costume (trousers were present and on) with my big blue quiff wig on. With that thing on i was like 7 1/2 foot tall and was like a cosplay beacon to the rest of the One Piece group. Getting random looks ranging from "wot the heck?" to proper looooving it. Even had some girls come over and lil poke and touch it lol.
