Sherlock (Femme!lock) Items:
Femme!lock Miss Selfridge jacket – £15.
New and unworn jersey cotton fitted jacket, with long sleeves, functional pockets (Large enough for a phone, camera or purse, will measure/test for you) and a series of small button fasteners, in a UK size 10. Very attractive shape, with princess seams and sleek, long lapels, in an easy fabric to find a matching skirt. Was originally twice the price from Miss Selfridge.
Harry Potter Items:
Gryffindor tie – £3.
Not an official replica, but as near as damnit. Satin-look burgundy and gold tie. Does not feature the Gryffindor crest, as many of the new replicas do, which might even make it slightly more screen accurate.
Black long-sleeved jumper - £4.
Bought to sew ribbon around the waist and cuffs as a Hogwarts uniform jumper, but never got around to it, so it remains house-less! Black rather than the screen-accurate charcoal grey, but it's hideously hard to come across grey jumpers in adult sizes. Label reads 12-14, but I'm a 10 and it fit me fine.
Black pleated skirt - £5.
Really lovely short, black skirt - Size 10, from Warehouse for £18, worn once. Only selling as it's a little big for me around the hips. Pleats are ironed in and won't press out. Concealed zip fastening to one side, sits above knee-length.
Brown curly hair extensions - £4.
Long, light brown curly extensions, on one five-clip piece, in Kanekelon fibres. Bought to lengthen my own hair for a Hermione Granger costume for the penultimate film, these have never been worn as they didn't arrive in time! They come with their original packaging, only opened once for the photo.
Harry Potter-style glasses - £3.
Pretty self-explanatory, I guess! The only difference is that these glasses are gold-rimmed instead of black. Bought from a fancy dress emporium a while back, but never worn.
Lucius Malfoy wand – £5.
Silver, snake-headed plastic wand with green eyes, the handle of the Malfoy patriarch’s iconic cane. Interactive with the rest of the range of infra-red duelling wands, or could be repurposed into a cosplay prop. Fully functional, although may require new batteries.
Death Eater cloak – £5.
Black, slightly stretchy sleeveless cloak with hood. Above-knee length on me, 5’5”, so possibly best suited to a child or petite adult. Never been worn.
Death Eater mask x2 – £10 each.
‘Order of the Phoenix’ merchandise, now very hard to come across in quantities. Plastic Death Eater mask with head strap and hollow eyes. Voice changing panel in front of mouth inside mask will probably require new batteries. May have natural play wear, but nothing too damaging or noticeable. Several tutorials on the Replica Prop Forum for resurfacing these with clay and repurposing into a personalised mask! *Large item, so postage might be more expensive.*
Bellatrix cloak – £15.
If the Death Eater cloak is too short, this cloak is full-length, in velvet-look fabric with a long, pointed hood and front ribbon ties. Bought for Bellatrix cosplay as it has the same shape as the sleeveless cloak polyjuice!Hermione wears to Gringotts in ‘Deathly Hallows.’ Worn once for a completely different character, but looks no worse for wear.
