I am looking for help and idea's for designing a pattern for Natsu's from Fairy Tail Sash.

I am thinking of using something similar to a skirt carrier pattern but with it being alot wider at the bottom as to give it more volume and not joining the panels at one side to give it the break. any ideas would be appreciated.
