Suggestion: Option to hide activity from friends/frontpage?
Hi! Sorry it's a strange request (as always, coming from me!) but I was wondering if there's a way to hide your activity, like on facebook?

Currently I was hit by absolutely having to have all my icons the same size/shape (LOL ) and I'm worried people adding me will have a page of "miiol changed the icon for yet another costume"!

In the same vein I'd like to not have things appearing on the frontpage because of making a small edit, and for that to be optional too, if that makes sense (perhaps a checkbox?).

Of course I have no idea how difficult that would be nor how many people would want to do this!! Thank you for reading!!

I like the check box idea

I think it will work for people like me that want to constantly edit their costumes but dont want to spam my friends or the home page.

Maybe after editing we could have a box asking if we could like the changes to be made public?

Again its only worth doing depending on the work inolved

I know this thread is EXTREMELY old but I'm reviving it because I was going to post the same thing before I saw this.

Yeah, an option to hide activity would be really awesome if it's possible. I'm a bit of a freak for organising things, and having "r0cket edited a photo" or "r0cket deleted a comment" just bugs me.

I've no idea how much work would need to go into this, so I apologise if I'm just piling more work onto a never-ending pile >A<

I really like this idea as im similar with editing my costumes and end up spamming all my friends watchlists. Which i think related to something Yuka posted a while ago about grouping updates which i thought was another great idea!

I think the suggestion of grouping things would mostly solve this problem and is something I hope we get soon.

However, I like the idea of small updates not reaching the front page. I'm often thinking I want to edit the info slightly or add some hours or do something that isn't drastically changing any aspect of my cosplay. I'm sometimes put off doing this because I don't want such a small change to spam the front page.
A checkbox of whether you want the change to go to the front page would be good. I have no problem with other people's small changes going to the front page, so it being a choice is fine.

And I realise this is an old topic dragged up, but it's a good idea, albeit a small one =]

Thanks for bringing this up. We have discussed it, but it seems there was no official reply!

We appreciate that bulk updates can be a pain to both the updater and anyone who friended them and what we propose to do is group bulk updates into one notification on the friends feed.

As you can see from the thread title this is on the pending list. We have already removed deletions from the friends feed as the first stage of this. As for the grouping we can't set any dates in stone, but we will be working on it
