Is there any cosplayers in Nottingham that live nearby the city centre and would be interested in doing meet ups, rather than wait for every Tuesday for NAMSOC or the nights at Forbidden Planet?

As like Lauren below I am also a part of a anime group called HCLA Brigade haha. We do have our claim to anime fame as the current mcm midlands expo performing winners Heheheehe

My names lauren and i am part of the HCLA Brigade! I actually put in a post on one of the other sections that we would arrange a cosplay meet based on what people would like to do!

I think its a great idea but we would definitely need to get quite a lot of people involved! In our group there are about 8/9 who would definitly be available others would have to check!

Hi it sounds great and I wouldnt mind joining you guys! Where abouts are you? I was maybe thinking a big meeting in town somewhere for everyone to get a good idea of who everyone is and what we want to do for future cons XD

that would be great! We annually attend midlands MCM expo from Nottingham. Transport wouldn't be an issue as we go by minibus and all pay for our contribution of the hire of the mini-bus. I live fairly close to nottigham city centre and sometimes shop at forbidden planet, though i have never attended any of their nights.

Well we want to try and get as many people to the meet as possible! If you reply to the site on the contact us page then we will set up private requests! Plus i need to give you information and details haha!

Due to this Charlotte has work on saturdays and it would be me and her you would be meeting as the representatives of the HCLA Brigade! Once me and Charlotte have spoken and set a pack with all the details and set a date then i will post back!

Ok to all those people who have gone on this forum or PM me since, I'm planning a date to do a big meet-up soon. Not sure when, but maybe next week or so. What would be best for everyone on days and times?

Well i am available at the weekend of the 14th and 15th i know char has work on the 14th. Why don't we use the date of the 21st July that we were all going to meet at a cosplay meet?

That way we can still all meet with each other and do your registration for the cosplay group at the same time

So glad I found this! I've been looking for Nottingham cosplayers for ages! My friend and I always go to expos but it'd be so nice to have a little gang! I haven't read all the posts because I was so eager to get involved ehe ^_^ I'm looking to do a Naruto cosplay soon, and it'd be great to get others involved

I am from around the Northern part of Nottingham. I go to the city centre often as all my other friends live in different parts of Notts so its just easier meeting up in the town than just meeting at someones house

Namsoc is fun so I dont mind waiting every week which is just about right I think the anime there has been pretty mixed but it does provide a good social life and quite a number of us attend cons a few times a year. The FP manga nights are ok but they are kinda repetitive so I only go for the social side really.
