Bobbin size help!!
Hi, I was wondering if any of you out there who is savvy with a sewing machine know what sized bobbin goes into a toyota quiltmaster sewing machine??? I can't find the size anywhere and I don't really want to have to keep unwinding thread from the bobbins it came with!

In my experience (though don't take it as gospel, this is just what I've found over the years) bobbin types go with particular sewing machine brands. Thus bobbins designed for Toyota machines will most likely fit your machine. Try searching for "Toyota bobbin" rather than looking for a particular size.

I thought that too, but when I asked someone who was selling ones designed to fit toyotas they told me it wouldn't fit my sewing machine - so I'm pretty stuck XD

Toyota Quiltmaster R2000? I have the same sewing machine as you! I literally just bought the cheapest standard sized plastic bobbins at my local fabric shop (it listed brands like Singer, Janome, Brother, etc but not Toyota) and it fits my machine fine. Bobbins I've gotten from random sewing kits fit my machine fine as well, I just assumed most bobbins were a standard size!

Next time I go to the sewing shop (either tomorrow or Wednesday probably) I can take note of the exact product info for you and comment back if you like

Ooh, thank you you two - and yes CrystalNeko, that would be awesome! My local one doesn't stock ones for toyotas at all! Thanks!

From a quick search, Toyota has two types of machine series; the RS and the SP. To find out which it is it'll be on the product information.

This has images to show where the information is to tell you what series it's from. It also sells everything Toyota related :3

Hope that's helpful.

That is brilliant help - I checked the site and it is indeed an RS2000, and it even has the bobbins on sale there - fantastic!

My hunt is over - thank you guys! I wasn't sure if anyone would know much about a fairly old sewing machine, but I'm not sure why I thought that when you're all so obviously awesome ;D
