I was on the train back to Cambridge from London last night, I literally squealed out loud in my carriage when I saw the londonpaper feature!! Everyone stared, haha.

I'm not going- mainly because London for one night is just too much, and most of my costumes are hard enough to wear at conventions, I'm not going to try to dance in them too XD

I agree with tab. Going down to London for one night from Manchester is a bit pricey. I do wish that I could go as so many of my cosplay buds are going and I would love to see everyones outfits in person.

Maybe next year. Hopefully by then London based people will prehaps let me stay at their places *bats eyelashs*

I wasn't THE guest of honour, but you know how newspapers like to spin things. I'm going to go to the local co-op and pick up a copy now XD Apparently it's on the cover of the Life supplement.

I think I will pick up a copy of that on my way home from work.

Newspapers love there spin it seems even more so then most American ones. They went on for quite a while about the Ball. In the US, you would be lucky to have a picture and a few words and that if it is a slow news day.

Does anyone happen to know what's happening with the BBC? I got interviewed by a woman from the Beeb on the night but I'm in the dark about what it was for...

I think she was with BBC 3 but I do not know. I only saw her in passing whilst she was filming a cosplayer. Normally if BBC News 24 is there, they have a three-person camera crew. Most people thought I worked for BBC when they saw me with my kit but I think my American accent gives me away though.
