Hello there
I just want to know if there are local cosplay meetings. I mean a cosplay picnic or something like this ?
On this side i can only see the bigger conventions xD
so is there another page where i can have a look for local meetings. Because at those meetings it is much easier to get to know people

I do post on the events list when smaller local meets are happening (like our Manchester ones) but I haven't heard of any recently.

It'd be helpful if you mentioned where you're from too so people will know where you're looking to go to for meets

Usually you can find some!

I tend to 'shop around' on my Facebook for local 'Cosplayer Alliances' or 'Cosplay Societies'. If you browse a little, you're sure to find some kind of group (if you live in a small area, might be best to search for larger groups, eg; I'm part of the general Yorkshire cosplayer society).

They tend to put up local meets and events ( the few that I have do it regularly C: ) so you'll never be short. See what you can find! ^^

There is cosplay Scotland http://www.facebook.com/groups/137552369646911/?ref=ts that meet in various places in Scotland, I believe it's usually Glasgow or Edinburgh so might be a bit of a trek from Inverness.

There is two conventions in Scotland, there's Auchinawa but they haven't set on a year when the next one will be or where it will be and there's DeeCon which is a free convention held in Dundee usually around about April.

Local meeting is good, but not easy to gather people, cos we are all from the different places...

Oh, if your from inverness the best bet is probably Cosplay scotland ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/137552369646911/ ) a lot of the meets are glasgow/edinburgh but they do others as well (theres one in dundee this weekend) Im from aberdeen so I know what its like trying to get to things!
