Shiny wig problem...
I'm cosplaying Morgana from the BBC series 'Merlin' for LFCC this year, and I've just found a decent wig. It's black, it's curly, but it's shiny like anything. I've got no experience of working with wigs whatsoever, but I've heard good things about baby powder and fabric softener and thinning out the fibres to help decrease the shine; has anyone tried anything they can vouch for?

Anyone who's so much as plaited a wig has got more experience than me, so help is very much appreciated!

Baby powder will make the wig look dusty because it's white. You can use talc though. Of course, try it on a small section first and see if you like the result!

Thanks, Pez - I'll try it out!
