Hey all,

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice about bald caps? I've seen the joke shop ones that are a bit cheap looking and I was wondering if it's worth getting a semi proper one and if so does anyone have any suggestions as to where to get them from or even if there's anything special I should look out for when buying one.

I'm not sure where to get them (my wigs come with them) but I've found the best ones are the fishnet ones which you pull completely over your head so it's round your neck then pull it back up so the elastic sits on your forehead whilst the rest holds your hair up.

But yes, the better quality ones hold your hair up for longer and usually are easier to put on and put your hair into. I think coscraft miiiiiight sell them

I've never used a bald cap personally, but I suspect if you want a good quality one you'll have to go to a specialist place, and they'll probably be pricey The only place I can think of that might sell them is Charles Fox in Covent Garden, but I'm sure there are other places (probably the same sorts of places that sell things like prosthetic noses and elf ears).

Have you used all the stuff yet? What kind of quality is it, like the paints and stuff?

haven't used it yet but the paints are just like normal make up foundation etc, its just to blend the cap into your own skin XD. i have used the paints when i did rip van winkle and they seemed to be of good quality XD
