Over the last few days whilst being on the site updating costumes and stuff ive been getting a lot of SQL errors and this isnt just on my home computer but in different locations also. I just wanna know if anyone else is having slight trouble with the site.
Example of what the errors say "Warning: MySQL server has gone away query: SELECT * FROM system WHERE type = 'theme' in /home/delusion/public_html/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 172"

Yeah I've seen it once or twice, it hasn't been bad, but I thought the site was dead the first time and that made me panic >_< Closing the page and opening a new one seemed to work though.

I haven't been getting error messages but I have had some trouble getting onto the site these days - I try to navigate to the site and it refuses to load, then just times out. Refreshing the browser seems to help, but it's odd since the site is so reliable usually...

Oh yes, I keep meaning to post about this! I've been unable to add any new photos for a few weeks now. I keep getting a "fatal error" about the memory. O.o Tried refreshing and on three different computers but still no success.

im able to post and add pictures and everything, it just seems the site doesn't want to open and i have to refresh many times for it to open or have to switch off the comp and leave it for 30 min and then itll hopefully work...

Well as much as i can tell its just network errors........
Wouldnt mind having a form of explanation to then explain in english to everyone else.

Sorry for the errors/problems people have been having! This thread actually bundles together a few different issues, so bear with me.

There was an issue at the end of last week with our hosting company, that is what was causing the MySQL errors that people have linked above. JakeX - this is what was causing the errors you saw Unfortunately this was something at their end so there was nothing we could do - this seems to have cleared up now (which means they've probably stopped mucking around with the servers) and should be fine.

Regarding loading times - we haven't had this one before, but we believe that may have been linked to the server issues, in which case this should now be sorted. I'll keep an eye on the site, if people are still having trouble next week with this then we'll try and look into it.

Lastly the memory error, posted by SephNoir - we've had this reported by someone else too and will be looking into it. Can you let me know whether it is giving this error when you upload any photos at all, or just a specific costume? Also I need to know whether you are adding photos on the journal, or in the normal photo tab. We need to try and recreate this in order to work out what's going wrong.

I've been getting another problem >_<. While trying to load some pages, a few times I get a message saying something about: error 500 Apache ...

Sorry I don't remember more of the message =/, but it only happens in very few occasions and reloading the page works for me. I haven't been able to identify if it happens when loading certain pages or just any page.
