Hey guys, I'm planning to make the Origami Cyclone herosuit. There are couple of things I'v been a bit unsure of.
His geta, I'm a little unsure on what would be best way to make them. I've thought it might be a good idea to building from flip flops but I think the shape wouldn't be right.
There's also this part of this torso. More specifically, the kimono that's over the left shoulder. Do you think it's fabric or part of the armour?

I'm gonna go with part of the kimono and fabric, personally... Because it looks like the gold bit continues on from the torso. If I was gonna make it, I'd make it out of fabric anyway, due to the fact it looks like it's tight to the skin there which is easier to do with materials. |

I had a little flick through an artbook for the series and it looks like it's part of the armour. But I think you could just as easily get away with making it out of fabric as well. There's this very nice looking Origami Cyclone cosplayer here and fabric seems to be what they used: http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&global=1&q=origami+cyclone+cosplay#/d51sbqq http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&global=1&q=origami+cyclone+cosplay#/d51orvg |
