What is it?: Jareth: The Goblin King

How's it going?: Pretty amazingly well actually, been working on the wig over the weekend, now fully styled and started adding some colour and flair to it... some different tone blonde extensions to give it a bit more 'realism' along with working in the blue bits for that 'ballroom' flash of colour

The jacket is coming along gorgeously, work has started on jeweling the back and shoulder area, should be finished with the jacket soon and ready to do a full costume test

When is it for?: London MCM (May 2013)

Any fun bits?: The jacket... all teh shinies will be mine!!!

what am I working on?
I am working on a Black Rock Shooter cosplay, and it is going fine, I guess. Haha. I just bought the wig for 35$! It is really expensive with all the faux leather, but good will come out of it. I am going to an upcoming anime con with my friends who are displaying Sugar and Zacharie from Off by Mortis ghost. The most fun part has been the jacket/coat. It feels so cool to wear! I am almost finished! Now I have to work up the courage to go shirtless in public.

What is it?: Karin from DNA2

How is it going?: Going ok so far. Finally ordered loads of sculpting foam from Specialist and a foam heat pen for cutting (which i can't wait to try out). Been working on sanding down old ski boots with 'wet and dry' to prepare them for modding/spraying up with plastics paint.

When is it for?: mcm manchester (july) OR if i don't get it finished in time i'll aim for mcm scotland (september).

Any particularly fun bits you've had so far?: having my boobs covered in mod roc so i've got a mold to use for putting sculpting foam on for my chest plate lol

What is it?: Walking Dead Rick
How's it going?: Great. It's not the most challenging of outfits. I'd actually like to be doing more customising and prop building rather than just getting everything off the shelf, but I'm getting reasonably lucky with cheap parts that fit me well and look good. I was quite nervous about shipping the shirt over from the US to only to find it would run a bit large on my skeletal frame, but it fits even better than Rick's actual shirt.

I'm thinking for variety I may do a plain clothes Rick on one of the days, as I own a few slim fit western shirts that fit the profile and hardly anyone cosplays series 3 Rick, although then I'm concerned I'll just look like a random dude with a holster. I want recognition!

When is it for?: London MCM May

Any fun bits?: The holster. Again, not much customising, but when I first got it I just wanted to wear it forever. The leather is worn in but unbelievably heavy duty and well-crafted. But then again I'm an odd one for holsters.

Any particularly fun bits you've had so far?- It's aaaallll fun!

What is it?: Holo the Wise Wolf (Spice & Wolf)

How's it going?: I'm really happy with the results so far. Currently I'm working on the tail, using acrylic paint to dye the fur to as close a colour I can get to the wig. It's going well, hopefully it will continue ^_^

When is it for?: London MCM Expo May 2013

Any fun bits?: Making the ears for the wig, and the tail

So far there haven't been any fun parts because I haven't started it. The most fun part has been imagining how it would all work out! I've made a miniature version to see if the pattern works...It does!

I'm making a Quina costume as part of a FF9 group

It's mostly done, just some bows and extra padding to sort out.

I've also been helping my friend make Beatrix's Save the Queen sword. (It's all pretty much made from craft foam, I've got nothing set up for any resin/wood work)

Should be ready for Ayacon 2013!
