I'm not going to run this both days like in May because for once I have other plans, so I thought maybe we could do something a little different.

This idea basically consists of finding an area at Expo to set up a little picnic for all our Disney cosplayers, providing a tea party style meet as opposed to a straight photoshoot. Obviously this would provide some more interesting photos and give us all some time to chat over Disney-themed sweet things.

As always, the rarer the cosplay the better but everything is welcome and I do not mind duplicates (this includes live action films, Pixar, and Disney-owned films).

I also don't mind characters from other Animated feature film classics, for example Anastasia, Fern Gully, Swan Princess, Road to El Dorado, Thumbelina etc. Most of these films were made by the same people and have the same sentimental feelings behind them so I don't have any problems with these being involved.

However I would like to ask for aesthetic reasons, since this is somewhat photoshoot based, that for this group everyone can stick to the official versions of characters (for example, no dead-disney, sexy-disney or re-imaginings).

This has now been registered with the MCM Fringe, and so it won't clash with the other Disney meet on there it will be at 11:30 at the East entrance.
Any of you lovely people that were there on the Sunday in May, we're currently planning this for the little area just inside the doors where we were taking pics with plants, to avoid the innevitable weather. Anyone who isn't sure where I mean, I'll meet you inside the Excel centre, just by Prince Regent station, at around 11.

Also, as suggested by FlyingMammel if we each could theme a drinking vessel (teacup/mug/goblet/beaker) and bring it with us to the meet then we can all enjoy drinks in character and it'll save me carrying loads.

Please do bring along your own picnic blanket, baked goods, snacks and tea if you can, whatever you can sensibly acheive. It's nice that we can share.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I can't decide between a couple of Characters but I don't want to say yet incase I change my mind. I will be doing at least 1 Disney cosplay.

Absolutely! Those sound like epic ideas! If everyone can bring a little something with them we'll make quite a time of it.

I'm also not sure on my cosplay, but currently I'll either be Giselle in her floral date dress or Belle in her 'something there' gown. Unless I maybe do Alice from the Time Burton film... decisions decisions.

I hope to do another Disney cosplay, but for now I'm keeping my options open. It's toooo hard to choose!!

Definately going to make my own teacup for this like you said FlyingMammel. Currently planning Giselle I think (after Blue Fairy my bank account and I need a break from crazy), so teacup covered in little flowers and ribbons it is.

ACEEEEEE Teacups, that sounds good to me. And I like the sound of you as Giselle too. Ohhhhhhhh mine will be a goblet (ok that might not be the right word - like an old metal beer mug thing) with a rat on the side - yeahhhhhhhh!! hehehe Or horns or something.

haha. Yeah, one look at the video of my little curtsy when I won the masquerade told me I really need to do Giselle. Lil sis doesn't think I can keep it up but I reckon it'll be fun.

The goblet sounds wonderful. As does a puppet show. I get the feeling this won't be a big one, but hopefully it'll be fun. ^_^

If I defiantly bring Clopin, I'll be sure to pack all my puppets (Clopin, Frollo and Djali currently) and try to give you all a show.
I'm not sure what story I can make with those three, but I can try my best. x'D

Hey, this is the Jack Sparrow from the last shoot in May, I'll be doing the cursed Jack Sparrow from the first film if that counts at all? I'm also doing the Mad Hatter too and you can't have a tea party with out me, I'll bring all the tea!
