Experianced wig maker wanted
This is the final time I'm buying a wig for this costume. I have gone through 3 wigs trying to get the perfect colour. I found a good wig 2 years ago but I feel its too short, plus it couldn't be styled due to time constraints.

I found this wig on Ebay which looks ideal. Length wise its perfect. Colour? I'd say its the one I want! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100cm-long-straight-cosplay-wig-fringe-dark-sea-green-UK-SELLER-Kate-style-/140755083008?pt=Adult_Fancy_Dress_UK&hash=item20c5a81f00

However, I need you to tell me if this is best.

This is the style of the hair. Images of the sides and back will be provided. http://s181.photobucket.com/albums/x5/KiyokaMakibi/Stuff/?action=view&current=kiyonefinal.jpg

Side question: The wig I brought 2 years ago is so soft if feels like real hair. What type of hair is this?

Edit: I need this for Amecon this year, August 10th

Ah I see. Sorry I thought I'd ask since you didn't specifically name a character or add a specific reference and I wasn't certain of what series the character was from. I know you like your original characters so I wasn't sure if you wanted it for one of those People will be able to help you a lot more easily now!

I'll still give my opinion though. I think the wig you've found is probably as close as you're going to get aside from someone selling off one that they've done already specifically for this character.
The internet is full of tutorials for cutting and styling, so take your time and don't be afraid to have a little test snip here and there around the bangs as you've got a fair bit before you begin cutting too short.
I like to cut vertically to the top of the wig to make sure the fringes of my wigs dont look too choppy (unless they're supposed to!)

You've got a lot of time to do your research before Ame if you want to try it out yourself. Maybe check out some tutorials for characters with similar hair styles?

As for your side question, if it feels like real hair, it could possibly be a human hair wig? Did it specify that when you bought it or did it cost a little more than a standard wig of it's length? If not it's probably kanekalon which wigs are commonly made from these days because it looks and feels nice!

Good luck with your cosplay and I look forward to seeing it this August!
