Hello all!

OK so a lot of groups have been batted around recently for Marvel cosplay, what with the recent release of 'Avenger's Assemble'

So I wondered who would be up for some Marvel cosplay at Amecon this summer. Be it a specific group or just general Marvel group would be awesome.
I know I definitely will be doing one of the many ones I want to do. (sort of leaning towards X-men cos of Keele Hall looking like Xavier's mansion ish but a group could sway me towards Loki/Capt. A)

So....THOUGHTS! DISCUSS!

Okay after a quick scan through I've got this list of potentials (some definites) I AM EXCITE!

WELL! If I do manage to get down there I will probably cosplay Loki or Gambit. I do have an Iron Man planned, but I wont have the armour done in time. However, have also been nursing the idea of doing Tony Stark in suit, with glowy chest piece and the red and gold brief case.

And if I did go, then I'll probably have people with me who are more than willing to do Marvel cosplays. I miiiight have convinced one of them to do Post-Hulk Bruce Banner (as in, ripped trousers and exhausted).

But yes, if I do go I'll probably be doing Marvel cosplays all weekend.

Possibly bringing 90s Wolverine for a friends nightcrawler if not 90s Cyclops! <3

Oh if its for the Ball then Sure! But! I only have Dare Devil in the Fray at the moment

Currently thinking probably friday or saturday? no idea really, open. I think the only thing that has a day for me at the moment is Avatar which I'm assuming is Sunday.

Current ideas for me are:
Loki, Nightcrawler, Gambit or Captain America (though gym trips may be needed so this one).


Though am about to crack out the 90s X-men cartoon so may get more inspiration for others from that!

I have massive urges to make Young Loki (the Thor film version...not the spandex sadly) if that counts! I'm still trying to sort out my Amecon list though so...it's a maybe!

Aren't you not joining Ellie for Game of Thrones? I thought you might be. Anyway. I would love to join in with the Marvel group but I have already made plans with other groups. I'm doing Code Geass Fri, Game of Thrones Sat, Soulcalibur Sun and Trinity Blood for the Ball. I might be able to switch the Soulcalibur as it is a 'maybe' at the moment but the others I'm definitely doing.

I'm in, but don't know with what yet! <3

Sephirayne: I might still be doing a GoT cosplay, I have s space left but no idea who. What with potential warm weather I might melt in most of the ones I want to do.

Just need to decide who to do! Hopefully seeing Avenger's tomorrow might cement one in my mind.

That is true. I'll probably melt in mine since its mainly armour but it will be awesome ^^.

Really tempted to do this group now if its now possibly for Friday. Not sure who to do yet. Will have a look.

I'm still working out if I can get to Ame or not (Alas, I'm likely to lack funding xD), but I would LOVE to join this if I can go <3

For me it'd either be Loki (Not sure which version... Avengers looks tempting and would be easier to do than the other version I have planned... *full-armour* derp), Scarlet Witch or Mystique! 8D

Depending on time, money and Titan progress I may do hawkeye. Failing that I'm going to try and revamp my johnny torch again! Flame on!

Never been a fan of spidey to be honest Johnny Torch now there's my home boy- cocky, confident and all kinds of sexy marvel goodness lol.
Sad to say there is only one hero for me and it is a ten year old who can turn into any alien XD Not quite avengers/marvel but hey ho!

After seeing Avengers Assemble last night I've decided to do Black Widow for the group! I'm in looove~

Brb, working on getting DAT ASS.

I'm feeling Captain America for the group (Will save Loki for a later time! cos he is just as awesome!)

Now to work out HOW to make that costume and also BRB going to the gym for the next few months!

Awesome. Can't wait to see. You might be able to pad the top part of the suit up if you want more of the muscle look.

I've been having a think about costumes as I would really like to be part of this. I might be able to join in as Hawkeye. I am an archer anyway so I can do the right poses. His outfit should be quite straight forward to put together.

Btw, my Brother is interested in joining in as Tony Stark. Hes not sure what outfit yet.

So put us both down as 'maybes' for now ^^.
