Where to buy gusset-less tights?
I have had the hardest time trying to find a store that sells skin coloured tights without the gusset/crotch support and no differentiated colour 'support shorts' on the tights that like to peek out from under skirts/shorts.

Has anyone of you wonderful cosplayers managed to find a place to get them? I hear they're often called "sheer to waist" tights but the one's I have bought online are usually too dark for my skin tone.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I've never bought them online, but they are indeed labelled as 'sheer to waist' tights. It's usually only mentioned in the description on the back these days rather than as the main selling point on the front of the packet, so they're harder to spot.
I've found them in M&S and a few independant tights shops.

The other option is specialist dance tights.

I will pop into M&S and have a good look.
I have experimented with lots of dance tights already and they tend to be too tanned for my liking.
Thanks for the heads up though!

If anyone else knows of any online stores, don't hesitate to suggest!

Boots!
I get mine in boots. They are the same colour,. no line or anything all the way up.
They are easy to spot as well because the front picture shows a leg all the way up to the hip with no line.
I think they are about 5-6£ and you get 2 pairs.

Okay went ahead and bought some from boots!
Only problem is the moment I put them on they laddered all the way up! That and the gusset is still visible, tis a rectangle one that couldn't work under a leotard without it poking out.

Looks like I will have to venture out to dance tights again!

I brought some cheap tights from Peacocks they didn't have a gusset. Try there maybe ^^

Heya! I suggest M&S too, that's the only place i've ever found these tights. they were between 4-6 quid a pack i think but it's worth a hunt on their site as the photo shows how they look on

tights 1

Tights 2

I used something like these for my Fasha cosplay, which basically involved me wearing a leotard lol. I think I got some secret support ones where the support shows up in some flash photos where the room is quite dark but it doesnt seem to show outdoors.

hope that helps a bit!! ^^

YES. I always have this problem D: it's really embaressing when they peek out of knickers/leotards!

I have heard of people buying them from M&S, though I've never come across them D: I'll be keeping an eye on this thread!

I'm pale like a ghost and I know exactly what you mean with dance tights. It took me ages to find a pair in a colour that worked.

Capezio do dance tights in a "nude" colour that works very well for my skintone, you can check my Cammy costume to see the colour. Unfortunately they don't do the colour in much of their range so you have to hunt around a bit. Currently their website suggests that the Ultra soft transition tights are the most suitable ones that come in nude.
