Does anyone have any tips and recommendations for books that could help me on making cosplays and related stuff (Clothes, Stitching etc.)?

I have sewing for dummies and even though I've been sewing for three or four years now, because I'm completely self taught I picked up a few things for it.

I'd recommend going into a good bookshop and having a flick through a couple, and if you see something that looks good seeing if you can get it on ebay or something because they're normally pretty expensive.

Dorling Kindersley have a Complete Sewing book which has a good library of hand stitches as well as how to do things like hems and darts. The nice thing about DK books is they have lots of pictures

I really wished I could help, but I also just picked it up by myself or asked my grannies. One made her own wedding dress and the other was a sewing teacher...

Only suggestion is to follow the pattern well, and not try to take shortcuts on them. They do explain things properly in most of them.

Any terms you're not familiar with you should google
