Hey y'all,
Im planning to make Vocaloid Rin's 'Nuclear Fusion' costume, but Im having trouble finding a dress pattern to use for the... well, dress. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good patterns that'd work for it!
*prepares for worst description in the history of dressmaking*
Ideally it needs to have a fitted bodice with a turtleneck kind of collar, sleeves of some description, and for it to flare out at the waist all ruffled-and-poofy like. Thats pretty much it.
I've found a few patterns which have one or two of the needed characteristics (Simplicity 2917, Butterick 5556) but Im not good with patterns so would rather not have to edit too much... Anyone got any suggestions for something that might work?

You don't have to make the bodice as low as the pattern (just stop where your waist is) and you could always just do a simple rectangle skirt that gathers at the waist to make it as 'foofy' as you want! |
